The Floyd County, Indiana government building that houses probation officers and does electronic monitoring remains closed Monday due to a possible black mold infestation.

Nearly six months of planning and effort came to a head Saturday, as the S. Ellen Jones neighborhood proudly celebrated its first of what organizers hope will be many festivals.

Legend has it that the old building that stood at Third and Main streets in New Albany was used as hospital during the Civil War.
